CARLA RAMSING LOWINGER is a third generation REALTOR preceded in business by her grandfather, father and mother. Carla was born and raised in Whittier, California where she still resides today. As a Realtor since 1987, she has always been on the cutting edge of the marketplace. Her passion for serving clients in real estate has gained her tremendous recognition and respect throughout our local community and across the country within the RE/MAX network. Carla loves the challenge of identifying and solving client’s real estate issues and fulfilling their needs.
Before beginning her real estate career, Carla attended Whittier College, University of London and was graduated from Arizona State University. Experienced in marketing and promotion she then headed up the national advertising department of a golf magazine. While at that post Carla underwent surgery that caused a paralysis on the right side of her face. During her recovery she studied for and obtained her real estate license and began achieving immediate results for her clients.
Carla joined Shorewood Realtors in Hermosa Beach in 1987. The firm grew to 180 agents with four offices and divisions in Income & Commercial as well as Residential Properties. Carla affiliated with the RE/MAX worldwide network in 1996.
Carla holds the professional designations of GRI: Graduate Realtor Institute and SRES: Seniors Real Estate Specialist along with the RCS-D: Real Estate Collaborative Specialist in Divorce and is the Director of the Select Properties Division for RE/MAX Community Realty.
Carla has brought innovative leadership to the real estate industry in various capacities during over 2 decades of service. She has served as the Legal and Legislative Liaison for the Los Angeles County Board of Realtors as well as chairman of several committees that have helped educate and serve the real estate community.
She has extensive background of representing mature buyers and sellers for many years and has vast knowledge and understanding of the needs that are unique to the senior community. She regularly implements solutions for her clients that make her eminently qualified to assist in any real estate transaction.
Carla=s most memorable business accomplishment is that she has personally negotiated hundreds of transactions and neither she nor her clients have been inside a courtroom involving any one of them.
