Meet Chicago native, horse-loving nurse turned real estate agent, Josie Pakula. Before earning her master’s in nursing, Josie spent eleven years in the United States Army, first as a combat medic and then as an officer in the Army Nurse Corp (airborne). Returning to civilian life as a pediatric trauma nurse at Children’s Memorial in the Windy City, she always yearned for a new direction and a career related to her passion for horses.

In 1997, the Pakula family moved to Scottsdale and live conveniently close to WestWorld – a facility home to some of the most prestigious horse shows in the country. In 2010, Pakula decided to marry her career as a realtor to her love of horses, eventually making her the equestrian property specialist. 

Her expertise and passion combined with her enthusiasm for real estate, dedication to client satisfaction and stellar marketing have earned her top recognition in the field. She is ranked in the top .1% of all agents in Arizona and was recently named one of the “Top Women in Real Estate” for the sixth year in a row.
