Notes

What sets me apart as a real estate agent is my passion, both for real estate and helping clients through two of the biggest transitions of their lifetime – A divorce and a House Sale. Achieving a special designation as a Real Estate Collaboration Specialist in Divorce – RCS-D™ and going on my 14th year as a divorced, single mother of 3 (now grown) children, I have made it my passion to assist divorcing couples through the process of uncoupling.

I have been living in North County San Diego, specifically Carlsbad, for seventeen years as well as the Carmel Valley and Del Mar communities. My clientele concentration and recent transactions have been in the north county community of Carlsbad. Prior to selling real estate, I worked as a real estate appraiser and as a mortgage loan officer.  My combined experience in real estate is going on 19 years, the last 9 of them being a full time Realtor®.

Having gone through my own divorce created a fire in me to pay it forward to help women & men in my similar situation to navigate the divorce process, sharing the knowledge I gained from my own experience, good and bad.  I made a lot of mistakes in my divorce because I just didn’t know. I want to help the couple as a whole to preserve their home ownership eligibility once the dust settles and help protect their credit scores so they can move on after divorcing and be able to purchase a home of their own and begin their fresh new start. Emotions can escalate where decisions are made out of spite and I want to help in keeping things calm and serve to remind my clients of what’s important to get to the finish line.

Selling the marital home can can be the most emotional part of uncoupling.  My business approach working with my divorcing clients is to give them extraordinary, compassionate service that goes above and beyond a typical client/agent relationship.  If it is my clients wish to stay in the home, I will help them do all the house homework to stay in the home. On the flip side, preparing the home to sell is usually very overwhelming, and I am there every step of they way. I want my clients experience to be smooth and “less painful” from beginning to end.

Outside of my job, I love mentoring women, volunteering, traveling, exploring local farmers markets, wine tasting, the beach, and the mountains. My genuine love for my work & helping people through tough times obviously shines through in both my personal and professional life.
