As a Real Estate Collaboration Specialist in Divorce, I work with a compassionate team of professionals – including mortgage, title, and insurance – before mediation or court to help clients keep their home and maintain their credit scores. We help them understand the true cost of one spouse keeping the house, reviewing documents that are crucial to avoiding issues after divorce, and what their options are if neither spouse qualifies to keep the house.
In addition to becoming an RCS-D™ Realtor, my Pricing Strategy Advisor certification enhanced my training in home valuations and generating more accurate CMAs for clients. In 2020, I received my certification in general and domestic mediation from the University of Utah and currently assist in mediations and home valuations (separate clients) for divorcing clients.
Like the clients I aim to help, I divorced many years ago, before I knew anything about real estate or the value of our home. If I had known then what I know now… It is my goal to help parties on both sides of the divorce aisle avoid looking back in a few years wishing they had 20/20 hindsight like I did.
