In the late 1980’s, I enthusiastically jumped into Real Estate as a profession. I have been involved in the industry serving BOTH buyers and sellers ever since.
The foundation I have built my business on is service to my client. It’s all about them. I am here to guide, problem solve, relieve stress, and protect their interest (sometimes from themselves 😊).
The best way I have found to stay relevant and on top of things is to stay educated and tuned in to where the market is, and where it is going. I take courses to achieve this and feel that education, reading, and interacting is a necessity.
Communication with clients is also a major focus. The client selects how they would like to stay informed, and then every step of the way my job is to see the client stays aware of what is happening now, and what is going to happen next. Having your clients TRUST is such an important aspect to ensure a positive experience, regardless of the unexpected things that pop up. Knowing they can trust you takes much of the fear out of a situation.
The industry is changing and the one thing that I wish consumers understood better is that it does matter WHO you use! A home is most people’s largest asset and the time spent vetting the agent to use is well worth it!
