Matt Wright is the Co-Founder and President of Alliance West Mortgage. Over the course of his tenure at AWM, the organization has been firmly established as a trusted full-service mortgage lender & broker offering financing to clients on all forms of residential real estate transactions.
Matt’s success is built on a deep understanding of the modern lending environment. His expertise covers everything from complex loan structures and underwriting guidelines, to property law, compliance, contracts, divorce lending and the California real estate market. These competencies allow him to take a hands-on role in day-to-day operational management at AWM, while also giving him the insight needed to direct long-term strategic efforts.
Throughout his career Matt has excelled resolving previously declined loans for his client’s benefit, in many cases taking over transactions from a non-performing lender during a client’s escrow. With thousands of home purchase and refinancing transactions completed over a 15+ year career, Matt has earned a rightful reputation as one of the industry’s top producers.
With a specialty in divorce lending, Matt has earned the Real Estate Collaboration Specialist-Divorce (RCS-D™). He is well versed in navigating complex divorce scenarios which require specifically structured financing and a high-level of expertise. He has been involved in countless divorce financing cases and is often called upon to serve as a valuable resource for Family Law Attorneys and Finance Professionals as they evaluate their clients divorce settlement options.
Matt earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from San Diego State University, carries a Real Estate Broker/Officer license with the CA Department of Real Estate (CDRE #01781456) as well as Mortgage Loan Originator/Officer license endorsements registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System (229916).
