Savannah, GA
Matthew Walker, Walker, MPA, PHR, SHRM-CP, RCS-D™
As a native of Savannah GA, I have a rich appreciation and love for the community where I have lived and worked for over 38 years. Savannah and the surrounding areas offer a diverse standard of living to accommodate the lifestyle anyone would desire.
For over 10 years, I have functioned as the Human Resources Director to a church membership of over 2,500. I have experience in managing, leading, and coaching people and organizations. I am also an Adjunct Instructor at Savannah Technical College where I teach Interpersonal and Professional Development. I have a master’s degree in Public Administration, and 2 National Certifications in Human Resources as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Certified Society of Human Resources Management Professional (SHRM-CP) through HRCI and SHRM respectively.
I have a strong passion to help others achieve their dreams of home ownership. This came about when my wife and I built our 1st and 2nd homes. I have been on both sides of real estate as a seller and buyer, so I understand the excitement and anxieties that accompany either process. As a result of both experiences, I delved into the learning process of real estate and understanding mortgage financing. It is my goal to assist sellers and buyers in providing them with the best counsel and advice possible with integrity and honesty. I am not afraid to ask the tough questions on your behalf. My ultimate purpose in real estate is to cultivate meaningful life enriching relationships with my clients.
My professional and personal endeavors have provided me the opportunity to experience an array of environments which continuously afford me the ability to utilize my wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of human resources, people management, analytics, conflict resolution, and coaching and developing.
In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my wife Brittany of over 14 years and two children Micah ad Lael, along with other family members and friends. I also enjoy gaming, singing, and lawn/gardening, which is my therapy.
We as individuals have the opportunity to live the life we dream; I am encouraged to use every opportunity presented as an open door to enjoy life to its fullest.
