Patrick Munce Bio.
My close working association with my father’s vast experience and range provided me with the opportunity to interact with many extraordinary contacts in the legal field.
My father was Hugh Munce. He was the Executive Editor of the Detroit Legal News Organization. Hugh was the first PR Manager for the Pontiac Division of General Motors. By the time that he taught me, he had decades of skilled experience in Journalism, Public relations, and Advertising.
I interviewed for a job at the Detroit & Oakland County Legal News and accepted numerous duties: Editorial, Public relations, with some Advertising duties, helping to organize and promote their many bench and Federal and State Bar Associations. Our biggest account was the Michigan Supreme Court. When my wife and I were married, our wedding was officiated by Supreme Court Justice Dorothy Comstock Riley. As a result, I believe that I became very comfortable with working for the legal community.
My gift remains my ability to focus on involving myself in the affairs of the Legal and Mortgage community to determine the needs of all new people I meet and how to offer them solutions to their problems.
I was always interested in real estate and lending. Before my father passed, I started work at the NBD Bank and I soon developed a mortgage referral liaison with many in the trust dept. Ever since I have been in mortgages for 30+ yr. career with banks, and mortgage brokers, in commercial, residential, and private lender organizations. I hold a 24 yr + Real estate broker’s License. I also have worked with NY M&A firms and have interacted with privately held companies and many private equity firms in Mergers and Acquisitions for approx. 7+ years.
Later, after the great recession, I returned to my commercial and residential financial roots, as a regional senior for C2 Financial, (the number #1 mortgage broker in the nation.) When I was a young man, I made a decisive commitment to be the master of my mind… rather than let my mind master me. I’ve found that ever since I’ve worked hard to attempt to give my everything, in order to offer the very best that I can do.
