Notes

Robin Goelman is a realtor with the Donna Kerr Group and is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Robin has a passion for helping others and approaches her role with enthusiasm.  She is described as detail oriented and service driven.  Robin is committed to empowering others through home ownership and believes in delivering superior customer service to every client, every time. Her familiarity with the greater DC metro area and its ever changing market enable her to anticipate the needs of her clients, and foresee and address potential obstacles they may face.

Robin has a specialty designation in divorce real estate, giving her a keen understanding of the complexities of buying and selling during a divorce including the need for detailed home valuation and financial analysis.  She is calm in conflict and is known for her ability to diffuse tense situations with her useful insights and sometimes humor.  She believes in listening to the needs of her clients and using her savvy negotiating skills to achieve a result all parties can feel comfortable with. While she is meticulous in her work, clients love working with Robin because she’s personable, responsive, and fun.

Robin is originally from Texas where she credits learning to approach life with both pragmatism and a sense of humor. She attended the University of Texas going on to live in New York where she started her first career as an Occupational Therapist.  She then moved to Bethesda, and after living and working here for 17 years, she now considers herself an honorary “Washingtonian”.   She got into divorce real estate after successfully negotiating her own divorce settlement out of court.  That experience drove her desire to assist other families and their counsel in avoiding the pitfalls that can accompany the negotiation of the house in a property settlement.  She has three daughters who attend elementary, middle, and high school in Bethesda where she is an avid volunteer. She is passionate about fitness and weekday early mornings you’ll find her teaching exercise classes for Sport and Health in Bethesda , Rockville, and DC.
